3D printed from recycled waste.

World’s first 3D printed sunglasses from recycled river plastic.

In May 2019, Sebastian from WRYuma cooperated with Lot from STORMKOP to make the world’s first 3D printed sunglasses from recycled river plastic.

STORMKOP is an initiative that organises workshops and playful afternoons for kids, in order to raise awareness about the major plastic problem.

Together with a bunch of buckets and gloves, they head out to the shore of the Schelde river (Antwerp) in order to pick up plastic. When they get back to STORMKOP HQ, they create all sorts of artful creations.

WRYuma creates 3D printed sunglasses from recycled materials.

Together with STORMKOP, they looked at what kind of plastics they could reuse in order to make the worlds first 3D printed sunglass from river plastic.
